Spend a day on a unique coral cay, located right on the Great Barrier Reef. Lady Elliot Island is a 42 hectare coral cay island located right on the Great Barrier Reef. This is where the Southern Great Barrier Reef begins and is within a 4 hour drive north of Brisbane. Access to the island is by short scenic flight from four locations - Coolangatta, Hervey Bay or Bundaberg. These flights are available daily. Resort facilities include licensed dining room and bar, poolside bistro/bar, swimming pool, reef education centre and library, dive shop and resort shop, lockers and showering facilities for day guests. There are a large range of activities which are fun for all the family. Explore the island, view the reef through a glass bottom boat, join educational guided reef walk at low tide, swim in the pool, try your hand at volleyball, table tennis, pool or simply relax in one of the most peaceful environments on earth.
